We remove all large weeds than get in closer and hand pick all unwanted weeds or overgrown flowers. We shape and edge your gardens as well as consult and plant new flowers. Many TAG customers find themselves dreading the process of maintaining there garden beds and as a result we find ourselves dedicating a considerable amount of time to weeding and topping up customers garden beds several times throughout the spring and summer.

TAG will come and trim your hedges, clean up all material from your property and haul it away. The time to trim you hedges will depend on the type of hedge effect you would like to achieve. If you want a low hedge, prune early in the season and if you want a larger, bushier hedge then it is best to wait until later in the season.

TAG will clean up and remove all types of debris and yard waste. Cleaning up garden and flower beds in the fall is an effective way to control various insect pests. Many insects survive the winter buried in the soil or on its surface.

It's the general consensus that nobody takes pleasure in mowing the lawn. The task often delegated to your sons and either neglected or has to be asked 10 times before it's completed. Every spring TAG goes door to door within Barrhaven and aerates hundreds of lawns. Lawn aeration involves the removal of small soil plugs or cores out of the lawn. This enhances heat and drought stress tolerance, helps to control and improve dead grass, allows grass to produce a stronger, healthier root system, and increases soil absorption of water, nutrients and oxygen allowing your lawn to breathe and become that much greener

TAG specializes in sodding and lawn re-sods. For Re-Sods we remove your current unhealthy or dead grass taking away what usual lies underneath the grass; a weak foundation of rock, debris and a thin layer of dirt. We build up a solid foundation with yards of fresh top soil. SouthRidge Sod will be delivered moist and cut fresh the same day of installation. We will help you set up your sprinkler or watering system the second were done as we know that one litre of water in the first hour does more than six litres three hours later. Additionally,, we will provide you with a watering and mowing calendar for newly sodded lawns. We believe that the sale is not over until the customer is completely satisfied.

Seeding may be an alternative to sodding or re-sodding your lawn. This approach is not anywhere as instant as sodding and generally takes at least a couple days to see results, however depending on your particular situation it may be an appropriate option. Seeding is mainly recommended for smaller areas where there is little grass and needs to be thickened. Seeding can fairly quickly repair a lawn that is thin and patchy from damage from grubs and insects, drought and extreme heat and from winter damage.

TAG also plants small tree's, shrubs and flowers as well as removing overgrown or misplaced shrubs and trees. Many gardens need trees and shrubs to form the background, act as a focal point, or add height. We will work with your ideas or use our artistic ability to perform a scenery to cater to your landscaping.

We consider many factors when determining your installation. This includes such things as the size of the area you want paving stones installed and the current conditions of the area. Paving stones come in a full range of colors and textures to match your existing home and landscape design.

Many households and properties lack proper drainage and water supply management. Depending on where and how your home is situated the melting of snow and heavy rain falls may induce a need for proper water distribution away from the foundation of your home. We create basic modern drainage systems using geotextile filters to allow the flow of water usually out of the eavetrough system and prevent fine grains of soil and other debris from passing into and clogging the drain. We typically dig a trench and backfill it with rock and gravel. The geotextile is subsequently folded over top of the stone and the trench is than covered by soil and the lawn is re-soded if necessary
